Îmbrățișări.ro is a community that organises Hug Events across Romania. We go to parks, festivals and marathons, we ask people whether they want a hug, and if they do, we give them one. Taking part is free, and the rule everything runs on is consent: nobody is touched without being asked.

How to write it correctly
The name
Îmbrățișări.ro — with diacritics, with a dot before “ro”.
The slogan
Deschide Brațele. Îmbrățișează. Dăruiește.
What we do
Hug Events. Capitalised — it is the name of the format.
What we are NOT
We are not a medical service, we are not a religious organisation, and we are not therapy.
Photos
The photos in the public gallery may be used in articles, credited Photo: Îmbrățișări.ro. Every album also has a downloadable archive.
If you need a higher resolution or one particular photo, write to contact@imbratisari.ro with the subject “Press” and we will send it the same day.
One request: please do not crop the photos so that a face ends up out of context. The people in them agreed to a hug, not to a campaign.
